    The story behind artandpets.com

ArtandPets.com was born from a simple need: giving my growing collection of animal illustrations a space of their own. I’ve always loved animals: cats, dogs, birds, you name it, and over time, they became one of my favorite subjects to draw.

While I usually specialize in landscapes, fantasy environments, and anime-style art, I found myself constantly returning to floral compositions and Ukiyo-e inspired pieces featuring animals between major projects. When the opportunity to get the ArtandPets.com domain came up, I knew it was the perfect home for this work.

    More than just a portfolio

I wanted a dedicated space that functions as both a portfolio and a store, without cluttering my main landscape work. Since most of my animal illustrations are designed with a poster format in mind, it made perfect sense to build a direct shop for high-quality prints.

A creative "breath of fresh air"

For me, these illustrations are a form of creative therapy. After finishing complex, time-consuming backgrounds or environments, switching to something more figurative is a great way to recharge and avoid burnout.

ArtandPets is also my playground as a designer. It’s an excuse to experiment with different techniques, minimalist compositions, and play with shapes and simpler concepts that don’t always fit into my other projects.

My goal is to keep growing this gallery little by little until it becomes a truly beautiful and diverse collection of animal art.
